A lot of people think of feeding suet only in the winter although there are a lot of benefits year round. In the winter the suet can offer a lot of fat and protien calories to help keep the birds energy up to keep them warm. In the spring and summer we offer a variety of no-melt dough cakes so you dont have the melting problem that can occur if your suet feeder is in a sunny area. One of the things I enjoy most about feeding different suet in the summer is watching the birds bring their babies to the suet feeder. It is easier for them to eat and offers a great deal of nutritional value. Our suet is rendered four (4) times to ensure that it is the purest form of beef fat.
